Show Notes
Trump vs. ABC/Kamala: Debate LIVE with Comments.
We start the show by discussing the Biden Administration’s continuation of Trump’s EO regarding a national emergency concerning foreign interference in our elections.
Rick feels this is strong proof of Devolution and Continuity of Government.
Another key EO that has been extended every 12 months is the EO regarding Crimes Against Humanity. Both EOs from Trump were directly pointed at the Deep State, so the fact that Biden/Harris extended this multiple times shows there is some white hat control.
Trump Jr. Tweets out what Rick reported on yesterday, that an analysis showed ABC coverage is 100% positive on Kamala and 93% negative on Trump.
Rick discusses the Healing for the Ages conference that is this Friday and Saturday!!

Trump is up 8% in betting odds to win the Whitehouse the day of the debate.
Rick also did a 2 hour show after this 2 hour show during the live debate and commenting as the debate was live and giving his analysis after the debate was over.
The takeaway of the night was this….
ABC showed its massive bias to the world.
The second takeaway was that Kamala was well prepared with talking points, but nearly all the attacks on Trump were debunked lies.
- Charlottesville: white supremacists are “very fine people”
- J6 insurrection
- Trump is a racist
- Disparaged people in uniform
The third takeaway from the debate was that Trump did very well in the first half of the debate but did not do well on two set up questions from ABC:
- Obama Care question (Trump focused on a concept of fixing Obama Carre vs. private insurance and ABC came back with “you have no plan” – once again showing the bias.
- Is Kamala black?
And he ended on a very negative note.
A fourth takeaway was that Kamala was very disrespectful, looking at Trump more than 50% of the time vs. the Camera. She made many faces and talked in a condescending voice as she accused him of many things. The question is, what do the undecided voters think of this?
Rick’s take is that most in the middle would be put off by her disrespect. But we will see.

Day 2: Being Filled with Hope and the Fruit of the Spirit!
By Rick Rene of Blessed2Teach Ministries
Prayer Guide Day #2
Father, because you have taught me to trust in you, I can live a life full of joy and peace.
Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
As you, Holy Spirit, dwell in me, I can feel myself being changed for good in my thoughts and beliefs.
Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
My God of hope, I trust in you and will abound in hope, live all the fruits of the spirit, and exemplify love, joy, and peace to others. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Context of Romans 15:13
To understand the context of this popular verse about being filled and overflowing with hope, we must understand the previous five verses 8-12. This section of scripture is often summarized as “Christ, the Hope of Jews and the Gentiles.” Paul tells us that Christ came as a servant to the Jews “to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs.” However, this was done so that the Gentiles (all non-Jewish people) would glorify God for his mercy. He then proves through Old Testament scriptures how the Gentiles would be blessed with this new hope. The context of this is the mystery of the church, in which God is revealing that his mercy is not just for the Jews, but the promises to Abraham and the other patriarchs are now also available to the Gentiles through faith! Paul expands on this in Romans Chapter 4:
Romans 4:16: That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Once we realize that Christ’s mercy is available to us all through faith, then we can better understand the power of this final verse where Paul prays that we all may be filled and overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!
Context of Galatians 5:22-23
The context of these Fruits of the Spirit verses consists of the 11 verses from verses 16-26 that is often titled, “Keep in Step with the Spirit.” This starts with great advice in verse 11:
Galatians 5:16: But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Anyone, who has been a Christian for some time knows the battle we have between the desires of our flesh and our spirit. The next scriptures describe how these are opposed to each other and then list out 15 works of the flesh, from sexual immorality to sorcery to envy. Then we are warned that if we are doing these things we will not “inherit the kingdom of God.” Then, the nine fruits of the spirit are listed, from love to peace to self-control, and we are told that if we belong to Christ, we “have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” The section of scripture ends by encouraging us to live by the spirit, keep in step with the spirit, and not become conceited or envy one another. We can do this by walking in the Spirit, keeping in step with the spirit, and dying to our flesh each day.

Devotional
Christ is the hope of both Jews and Gentiles as the mystery of the church is revealed to us. Therefore, we need to keep in step with the spirit and not walk in our flesh. Christ became a servant to the circumcised Jews:
- to show God’s truthfulness
- in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs
- in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy
This mystery of the gospel being not just for the Jews but also for the Gentiles, and Paul references Old Testament verses that allude to this:
- Therefore, I will praise you among the Gentiles and sing to your name. (2 Samuel 22:50)
- “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.” (Deuteronomy 32:43a)
- Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples extol him.” (Psalm 117:1)
- The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope.” (Isaiah 11:1-10)
After making it clear that salvation is available to all people, Paul then prays for us all, Jews and Gentiles alike, when he says:
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing
- so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope
So let’s abound in hope as we are filled with joy and peace. Joy and Peace are two of the nine fruits of the spirit we discuss next.
We are told to “walk by the spirit” so that we do not “gratify the desires of the flesh.” This advice is also emphasized in 2 Corinthians:
2 Corinthians 5:7: for we walk by faith, not by sight.
Walking by the spirit and walking by faith is key to our walk with God because if we walk by sight, we will likely gratify the desires of the flesh:
- For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit
- and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh
- for these are opposed to each other
This battle between our flesh and the spirit is real and discussed as well in Romans Chapter 7:
Romans 7:23: but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
The desires of the flesh want to deceive us, just as Satan and his demons do as well: “to keep you from doing the things you want to do.” The good news is that:
- if you are led by the Spirit,
- you are not under the law
And this will allow us, through the help of the Holy Spirit, to not walk in the evident 15 works of the flesh that Paul lists:
- sexual immorality,
- impurity,
- sensuality,
- idolatry,
- sorcery,
- enmity,
- strife,
- jealousy,
- fits of anger,
- rivalries,
- dissensions,
- divisions,
- envy,
- drunkenness,
- orgies,
- and things like these.
And Paul warns us that:
- those who do such things
- will not inherit the kingdom of God.
With this background, we get to the opposing fruit of the spirit, which lists nine character traits:
- love,
- joy,
- peace,
- patience,
- kindness,
- goodness,
- faithfulness,
- gentleness,
- self-control
And, unlike the desires of the flesh, “against such things there is no law.”
So we can win this battle if we:
- belong to Christ Jesus
- have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Luke 9:23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
So, we need to die to ourselves daily, crucify our flesh, and follow and belong to Jesus, which will allow us to:
- live by the Spirit
- keep in step with the Spirit (the theme of this section of scripture)
And if we keep in step with the Spirit, we will not become:
- conceited,
- provoking one another,
- envying one another
Paul mentions “envy” both in the 15 evident desires of the flesh above and here at the end of this passage of scripture, maybe to emphasize this as a struggle for many of us.
As we combine these two passages of scripture, we see that God has extended salvation to Jews and Gentiles alike, but even after we receive the Holy Spirit, opposing forces will challenge us. However, we can have victory if we keep in step with the Spirit.
“Father, I am so grateful for you extending salvation to all people and I will hold on to the hope you have provided to me. I will live the fruit of the spirit and will live a life abounding in hope and keeping in step with the Spirit with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control! In the name of Jesus, Amen.”
Wednesday:
Because your Holy Spirit has taught me who you are, I have peace. Through this knowledge and power, you have equipped me with everything I need. Your promises keep me from the evil in this world as I learn to walk in your nature.
2 Peter 1:2-4: May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
Lord, thank you for multiplying grace and peace in me and equipping me to be a partaker of your divine nature. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Context
The full context of these powerful three verses requires us to understand the seven following verses which is about “Confirming Your Calling and Election.” Peter starts with a prayer for the believers that they will be multiplied with grace and peace based upon the knowldge of God and Jesus. If we want to have a mind filled with peace and not stress and anxiety, we need to start with this knowledge as emphasized in Proverbs:
Proverbs 9:10: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
This knowledge grants us everything we need to live a life of godliness. Peter then advises us on how to supplement our faith with virtue, self-control, affection and love. If we can own these qualities, it will keep us from being ineffective or unfrutful and we will never fall. If we lack these qualities, we may forget how we are cleansed from our prior sins. Peter then asks us to be “diligent to confirm your calling and election.” All of us have a calling as discussed in Ephesians 4:
Ephesians 4:1: I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called.
We are chosen and called by God and when we are walking in our calling we will not fail and will enter “into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!”

2 Peter 1:2-11
Devotional
Peter sets up the scripture passages about “Confirming Your Calling and Election” through a prayer for us:
- May grace and peace be multiplied to you
- in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
A key to grace and peace is having this knowledge of God and Jesus. How is this? Well, Peter answers that next:
- His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness
- through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence
- by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises
Why is God granting us his glory, excellence and great promises?
- so that through them, you may become partakers of the divine nature
- having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire
Therefore, we should “make every effort to” exercise these seven qualities:
- supplement your faith with virtue,
- and virtue with knowledge
- and knowledge with self-control,
- and self-control with steadfastness,
- and steadfastness with godliness,
- and godliness with brotherly affection, and
- brotherly affection with love.
What is the reward of living these seven qualities?
- they keep you from being ineffective
- or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ
If we lack these qualities, we show we are blind to how we are “cleansed from our former sins.” We are then encouraged to be more diligent to:
- confirm your calling
- and election
Yes, we have a calling and were elected by God as discussed in 1 Peter:
1 Peter 2:9: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
If we practice the qualities above and confirm our calling and election we will:
- never fall
- enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
How awesome that God has called each on of us!
“Father, Thank you for choosing me to be a royal priesthood. I am a partaker of your divine nature and will live out my calling with grace and peace! In the name of Jesus. Amen.”
