Rick starts with breaking news…

Opening Announcements and Agenda Setting

Rick introduces the show’s agenda, including economic updates with Kirk Eilert and a discussion of Tom Tillis’s RINO exposure.

Rick urged viewers to contact Tom Tillis’s office regarding his January 6th stance that Trump should not have pardoned anyone who entered the building.

This leads Rick to think Tillis is part of the cover-up operation because, in many cases, the police opened the doors and were not telling people not to enter.

Major Fentanyl Bust Coverage

Detailed coverage of DEA’s largest fentanyl bust, including seizures across multiple cities and the arrest of 16 individuals.

Operation resulted in significant seizures of currency, firearms, and various drugs.

Vatican Leadership Discussion

Analysis of the Vatican Pope selection process and concerns about institutional corruption, particularly regarding the Vatican banking systems.

Trump Administration Updates

Coverage of Trump’s announcements, including Dr. Casey Means’ nomination for Surgeon General and executive order on gain-of-function research.

Government Oversight and Corruption

Discussion of James O’Keefe’s upcoming investigation and revelation about federal employee unemployment benefit fraud.

Rick then brings on Kirk Elliott for an economic update.

Federal Reserve’s Interest Rate Decision and Trump’s Response

Kirk analyzed the tension between Federal Reserve Chairman Powell and Trump regarding interest rate policy.

Powell’s resistance to lowering rates was explained as concern over inflation, while Trump’s position favored economic stimulation through rate cuts.

Impact of Tariffs on International Trade

Kirk detailed the arrival of the Violet cargo ship with $550 million in goods, resulting in $413 million in tariffs, demonstrating the significant impact of Trump’s trade policies on Chinese imports.

Manufacturing and NAFTA Effects

Kirk discussed Ford’s manufacturing expansion in Ohio and Tennessee, critiquing NAFTA’s role in shifting jobs to Mexico and Canada, and explaining Trump’s strategy to revitalize American manufacturing.

Precious Metals Market Analysis

Kirk provided insights on gold and silver market movements, noting significant price increases after China’s market reopening and advising against overpaying for precious metals.

He advised investors to consider buying gold and silver during market turbulence, suggesting prices may present buying opportunities.

Kirk warned against paying more than $38 per ounce for silver, recommending focus on bullion rather than commemorative or rare coins.

Day 7: He Will Not Forsake His Saints

By Rick Rene of Blessed2Teach Ministries (https://blessed2teach.com)

Prayer Guide Day #7

I commit my way to the Lord, delight in him and trust him. He will act on my behalf and give me the desires of my heart.

Psalm 37:4-5:  Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.

Lord,  I commit all my ways to you, trust you and delight in you. Make me the person you designed me to be and thank you for giving me the desires of my heart and caring for me with action! In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Context

The context of these popular Psalm verses include the entirety of Psalm 37.  We will concentrate on the first 20 verses for this study.  These 20 verses can be summarized into three major points:

Don’t Stress About Evil: We are not to worry about wrongdoers but to trust God instead.

  • Don’t fret or be jealous of evil people’s success.
    This is also asserted in Proverbs 23:

Proverbs 23:17: Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the Lord all the day.

  • The wicked will fade like grass in the sun.
  • Trust God, do good, and stay faithful.

Proverbs 3 expands on this:

Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

  • Find joy in God, and He’ll give you your heart’s desires.

God ensures evil won’t last, so let’s focus on him, even when corrupt powers seem strong. We don’t envy them, but instead, we trust God and keep fighting for liberty and truth.

Commit to God and Wait: We are encouraged to give our plans to God and wait patiently for His justice.

  • Commit your life to God; trust Him, and He’ll act.
  • God will make your honesty shine like light.
  • Be still, wait for God, and don’t stress about evil success.
  • Avoid anger, as worry leads to bad choices.

Paul tells us this as well in Ephesians:

Ephesians 4:26: Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

  • The wicked will vanish, but the humble will gain peace.

Trusting God brings peace and victory, so let us give our efforts to God and stay patient. Avoid bitterness, trusting He’ll make our cause shine and bring justice.

God Protects the Righteous: We are told how God cares for the faithful while the wicked face ruin.

  • The wicked plot against the good, but God sees their end.
  • Evil plans backfire, and their power breaks.
  • A little with God beats the wealth of the wicked.

Proverbs amplifies on this theme in Chapter 15:

Proverbs 15:16: Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.

  • God supports the honest, providing in tough times.
  • The wicked vanish like smoke, but the righteous endure.

God’s care keeps the faithful secure and even with limited resources, we can trust God to sustain our fight for liberty. Stay righteous, knowing He’ll outlast the wicked and uphold our cause because “He Will Not Forsake His Saints!.”

Psalm 37:1-20:

Devotional

This Psalm of David teaches us that God “Will Not Forsake His Saints” and David starts by telling us to not fret and trust the Lord.

  • Fret not yourself because of evildoers;
  • be not envious of wrongdoers!
  • For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.

Psalm 129 also discusses withering grass:

Psalm 129:6 Let them be like the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up,

  • Trust in the Lord, and do good;
  • dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.

As we trust in God and are faithful, we will naturally desire the lord and seek him:

  • Delight yourself in the Lord
  • and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

What a privilege to get the desires of our heart by just delighting in the Lord!  Besides delighting in him, we also should commit our ways and wait on him:

  • Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.
  • He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
  • Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;

It is God who goes before us and will “bring forth your righteousness.”  This is why we do not have to be upset about those who are unrighteous that prosper:

  • fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,
  • over the man who carries out evil devices!
  • Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!
  • Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
  • For the evildoers shall be cut off,

In due time, time the wicked will be judged:

  •  but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.
  • In just a little while, the wicked will be no more;
  • though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.

And once God acts, it’s the meek that will prevail:

  • But the meek shall inherit the land

Jesus says a very similar thing in Matthew 5:

Matthew 5:5: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

This sounds like Psalm 2!

Psalm 2:8: Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.

So let’s ask him and this Psalm gives us even more promises:

  • and delight themselves in abundant peace.
  • The wicked plots against the righteous
  • and gnashes his teeth at him,
  • but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
  • for he sees that his day is coming.
  • The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows
  • to bring down the poor and needy,
  • to slay those whose way is upright;
  • their sword shall enter their own heart,

This is what happened to Haman in the Book of Esther where he was hung on the very gallows he built for Mordecai!

  • and their bows shall be broken.
  • Better is the little that the righteous has
  • than the abundance of many wicked.
  • For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,

Ezekiel 30 tells us how he did this to the Pharoah:

Ezekiel 30:21-22: “Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and behold, it has not been bound up, to heal it by binding it with a bandage, so that it may become strong to wield the sword. 22 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms, both the strong arm and the one that was broken, and I will make the sword fall from his hand.

God judgement and blessing fall swiftly and we are seeing much of this in our times, so we can be confident we won’t be put to shame:

  • but the Lord upholds the righteous.
  • The Lord knows the days of the blameless,
  • and their heritage will remain forever;
  • they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.

Blessing will flow even in hard times and soon it will be like the evil ones never existed:

  • But the wicked will perish;
  • the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures;
  • they vanish—like smoke they vanish away.

What a blessing that the Lord goes before us and in due time judges the evil ones and blesses those who serve him.  He will not forsake us!

Father, I trust you with all my heart and all my soul.  I will not fret over the prosperity of the wicked but will instead delight in you, commit my ways to you and will be still and wait for you. I will be patient as your justice comes to this earth and I am ready to help advance your kingdom on this earth!  I know you will never forsake your saints. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
