Introduction of Richard Gage and his background in 9/11 research
Rick B2T introduced Richard Gage, a member of the American Institute of Architects and founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth.
Gage became interested in researching the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings after hearing David Ray Griffin on the radio in 2006.
The organization he founded now includes over 3,500 architects demanding a new investigation into what they describe as the “explosive destruction” of all three World Trade Center high-rise buildings on 9/11.
Rick mentioned that asking how many towers fell on 9/11 is a way to identify those who are “awake” to alternative narratives, as most people say two while those aware of Building 7 know there were three.
Richard Gage’s current work and upcoming Washington DC conference
Richard Gage explained that for three years, he and his wife Gail have been traveling around the country, presenting evidence for what they call the “explosive demolition” of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers to 100 American cities.
They’ve conducted 75 podcasts and approximately 1,000 interviews.
Gage announced an upcoming conference in Washington, DC called “Turning the Tide” for 250 people, mentioning that Senator Ron Johnson is calling for a new investigation into the destruction of the three skyscrapers.
Gage noted that former Congressman Kurt Weldon, who has appeared on Tucker Carlson and other shows discussing 9/11, is also expected to attend the conference.
Introduction to Building 7 collapse evidence
Gage began his presentation by focusing on World Trade Center Building 7, noting it was not hit by a plane yet collapsed on 9/11.
He described it as a 47-story building, about half the height of the Twin Towers but taller than most buildings in many states, located about 100 yards from the North Tower.
Gage acknowledged that when the North Tower collapsed, some beams hit Building 7 causing damage, but noted that NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) stated this damage was not a significant factor in Building 7’s collapse.
Gage showed video of Building 7’s collapse, describing how it came down “straight down, uniformly, symmetrically into its own footprint in under seven seconds.”
NIST’s official explanation versus fire evidence
Gage presented NIST’s official explanation that “uncontrolled building fires” caused the “extraordinary event” of Building 7’s collapse.
He then showed photographs of what he described as the worst fires documented in the building, characterizing them as “few, small, and scattered.”
Gage specifically noted that fires on the 12th floor, which NIST identified as the collapse initiation point, had burned out an hour before the collapse.
He contrasted this with what he called a “deceptive drawing” from NIST showing raging fires at 4:00 PM but not providing visuals for the time closer to the actual collapse at 5:20 PM.
Gage emphasized that no steel-frame, fire-protected building had ever collapsed due to fire before or after 9/11.
Comparison to controlled demolitions
Gage compared Building 7’s collapse to known controlled demolitions, suggesting strong similarities.
He presented what he called the “features of controlled demolition” evident in Building 7’s collapse, including sudden onset of destruction.
He showed a clip of CBS anchor Dan Rather describing the collapse as “reminiscent of those pictures we’ve all seen too much on television before when a building was deliberately destroyed by well-placed dynamite to knock it down.”
Gage noted that this footage was rarely shown on mainstream media after the initial broadcast.
Analysis of Building 7’s symmetrical collapse
Gage analyzed the symmetrical nature of Building 7’s collapse, explaining that achieving such symmetry in demolition requires removing all core columns simultaneously within a fraction of a second, followed by perimeter columns about a second later.
He argued that if the northeast corner had failed as NIST claimed, the building would have fallen toward that side rather than straight down.
Gage presented physics teacher David Chandler’s measurements showing the building fell at free-fall acceleration, which NIST eventually acknowledged after initially denying it.
Gage emphasized that free-fall implies all structural support was removed simultaneously.
Witness testimonies of explosions at Building 7
Gage presented witness testimonies describing explosions before Building 7’s collapse, contradicting NIST’s claim that there were no such witnesses.
He played clips of witnesses including Daryl (a medical student), Kevin McPatton (former Air Force medic), Bill Rizzotti, and Barry Jennings (who was in the building with Michael Hess).
These witnesses described hearing “a clap of thunder,” seeing “a shockwave ripping through the building,” hearing distinct explosion sounds, seeing “a big flash,” and being told by police about “information of bombs.”
Gage claimed NIST overlooked these testimonies despite analyzing hundreds of videos and thousands of photographs.
University of Alaska study contradicting NIST
Gage discussed a three-year study by Professor Leroy Halsey at the University of Alaska, described as “one of the top forensic structural engineers in the country.”
Using two competing software programs, the study found that the failure of column 79 (as NIST claimed) would have caused the building to tip over rather than collapse symmetrically.
Gage stated that the study concluded the only way to replicate the observed collapse was to remove all columns in the building floor by floor simultaneously.
The University of Alaska study concluded that fire did not cause the collapse, temperatures were not high enough to weaken the steel framing, and the collapse involved “near simultaneous failure of all columns in the building.”
Evidence of extreme heat and thermite
Gage presented evidence of extreme temperatures from FEMA’s 2002 Building Performance Assessment Team report, which documented “eutectic reactions” and “intergranular melting” in steel samples from Building 7.
He showed images of steel with “Swiss cheese-like” holes and noted the report mentioned “rapid oxidation and sulfidation” and “liquid iron” requiring temperatures of around 3,000°F, far exceeding what office fires could produce.
Gage suggested thermite, a compound of iron oxide and aluminum used by the military that can reach temperatures over 4,500°F, as a possible explanation for these observations.
Analysis of dust samples and nano-thermite evidence
Gage discussed findings from the US Geological Survey’s 2005 “Particle Atlas of the World Trade Center Dust” and private firm RJ Lee Group’s analysis, both documenting “previously molten iron microspheres” in all WTC dust samples.
He presented research by a team of eight international scientists led by Niels Harrit from Copenhagen who analyzed dust samples containing “red-gray chips.”
When examined with electron microscopy and x-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy, these chips were found to contain nano-sized particles of iron oxide and aluminum – the components of thermite – in an organic matrix.
When ignited at 800°F, these chips produced an exothermic reaction and iron microspheres matching those found in the WTC dust.
Gage emphasized this was “very high-tech stuff made only in the most sophisticated advanced defense contracting laboratories.”
Evidence for controlled demolition of the Twin Towers
Gage extended his analysis to the Twin Towers, suggesting they too were destroyed by controlled demolition despite having asymmetrical damage from the airplane impacts and fires.
He presented video analysis showing the upper sections of the towers being “destroyed in the first two seconds” rather than crushing the lower portions as the official narrative suggests.
Gage highlighted witness testimonies from 156 first responders who described explosions, ground shaking, and flashes of light before and during the collapses.
He showed video evidence of what he described as “isolated explosive ejections” or “squibs” occurring far below the collapse fronts.

Analysis of debris patterns and pulverized concrete
Gage analyzed the debris pattern of the Twin Towers, noting that multi-ton steel sections were ejected laterally at approximately 80 miles per hour, landing up to 600 feet away.
He questioned how a gravitational collapse could produce such lateral force.
Gage also discussed the pulverization of concrete, noting that despite having 110 floors of concrete (each an acre in size), no intact floor sections were found in the debris.
He contrasted this with a 33-story building collapse in Bangkok where pancaked floors were clearly visible.
Gage suggested that the concrete was “pulverized in mid-air” before hitting the ground, possibly due to thermite creating temperatures exceeding 3,000°F.
