Rick starts with breaking news…

Introduction and Overview of Topics

Rick welcomed viewers to a session focused on empowering Christian patriots with truth.

He outlined the upcoming topics, including discussions about Iran, border issues, economic updates, and a Q seven-year delta.

Rick mentioned there would also be word and worship content on a different channel.

He briefly addressed a prediction about a MAGA split, dismissing it as unlikely despite disagreements on handling the Iran situation.

Border Security Success Under Trump

Rick B2T reported that border agents didn’t release a single illegal migrant into the US last month, down from 62,000 under Biden.

He emphasized this demonstrates how a new president can effectively control the border without legislation.

Rick noted that agents caught 8,725 migrants crossing illegally at the Southern border last month, representing a 93% decrease from 2024 when 117,905 were apprehended.

He highlighted that while people are still trying to cross, they’re being caught and not released into the country.

Economic Improvements and Presidential Approval

Rick shared Donald Trump’s assertion that US wage growth is the best in 60 years, with middle-class Americans and blue-collar workers seeing pay increases that outpace inflation.

He reported that Trump’s policies are working despite media claims to the contrary, noting that tariffs are not raising prices.

Rick also discussed Trump’s installation of two flag poles at the White House and showed footage of the flag-raising ceremony.

He highlighted Trump’s high approval rating (54% overall and 95% among Republicans on foreign policy and national security) despite negative media coverage.

Precious Metals Investment Opportunity

Rick highlighted the surge in silver prices, which reached $36.74, up significantly from the $14 range in previous years.

He explained how precious metals can protect wealth against inflation, noting that silver has better upside potential than gold because it’s not yet at an all-time high.

Rick introduced Kirk Elliott as an economic expert and provided contact information (720-605-3900) for viewers interested in investing in precious metals.

He emphasized the liquidity advantages of silver and its potential for significant growth if hyperinflation occurs or the ‘Babylonian system crashes.’

Israel-Iran Conflict Updates

Rick reported on Israel’s strikes against Iranian targets, including a centrifuge production site and internal security headquarters.

He contrasted Israel’s targeting of military leaders and facilities with Iran’s missiles aimed at civilian populations.

Rick discussed the US involvement considerations, noting that President Trump was in the Situation Room regarding the Iran conflict. He mentioned that B-2 bombers had been spotted in Israeli airspace, suggesting preparation for potential strikes against underground Iranian nuclear facilities.

MAGA Movement Division on Iran Policy

Rick addressed the division within the MAGA movement regarding US involvement in the Iran conflict. He noted that figures like Candace Owens, Stu Peters, the Hodge twins, and others oppose any US action against Iran and advocate abandoning Israel completely.

Rick disagreed with this stance while acknowledging their concern about avoiding forever wars. He shared Trump’s comments refusing to reveal his plans regarding potential strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Rick also mentioned a Q-drop with a seven-year delta that stated ‘Free Iran, fight fight fight, regime change, people have the power, we stand with you.’

Iranian Opposition Leader’s Address to Congress

Rick shared remarks from Prince Reza Pahlavi (described as a former president of Iran) addressing the US Congress.

In his address, Pahlavi described the Islamic Republic as a regime that has waged war against the Iranian people for 46 years and persecuted various religious groups.

He stated that the regime is in the final stages of collapse and outlined his vision for a democratic and inclusive Iran that would seek peace with Israel and America.

Pahlavi emphasized that supporting the Iranian people wouldn’t require American troops or tax dollars, but rather help in isolating the regime and elevating the cause of freedom.

Prophetic Warning About Iranian Sleeper Cells

Rick played a message from Pastor Greg Locke, who issued what he called a prophetic warning about Iranian sleeper cells.

Locke urgently stated that if the US doesn’t take action against Iran soon, these sleeper cells would be activated worldwide, particularly in America, bringing chaos and destruction.

He called for intercessors to pray and for the US to destroy Iran’s supreme leader, intelligence system, and nuclear program. Locke criticized figures like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and others for their stance against supporting Israel.

Economic Update with Kirk Elliott

Kirk Elliott joined to provide an economic update, noting that silver had more than doubled since they began discussing it, reaching $37 from the upper teens.

He projected silver could reach $75-120 per ounce, with even higher potential if the ‘Babylonian system crashes.’ Kirk discussed how the Iran conflict could impact oil prices, potentially rising from $75 to $130 per barrel (a 73% increase), which would double inflation from 2.5% to 5%.

He explained the economic battle between Trump and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, with Powell keeping interest rates steady despite Trump’s calls to lower them. Kirk suggested this could be part of a coordinated attack to prevent Trump’s economic success.

Potential Financial System Reset

Rick and Kirk discussed the possibility of the IRS and Federal Reserve being eliminated in a financial system reset. Kirk noted countries amassing gold reserves and Trump’s interest in auditing Fort Knox and the Federal Reserve as potential indicators of a coming monetary system change.

He explained that Trump’s tax policies and tariff revenue could eventually make the IRS irrelevant, while the battle with Powell might demonstrate the Fed’s irrelevance.

Kirk advised viewers to invest in physical silver bullion rather than commemorative or rare coins, which often come with high markups and are difficult to sell.

Additional News Items and Conclusion

Rick covered several additional news items, including Britain putting its cabinet on alert for potential US attacks on Iran, the Federal Reserve holding interest rates steady despite Trump’s calls for cuts, and statistics showing the dramatic shift in university faculty ideology (from 33% conservative in 1984 to just 10% in 2020, with liberals increasing from 40% to 74%).

He also mentioned a Supreme Court decision allowing states to protect children from gender-affirming surgeries.

Rick concluded by announcing a transition to a ‘word and worship’ session on a different channel, where he would be teaching about archaeology confirming biblical reliability.

Day 3: Biblical Cities Rediscovered

By Rick Rene of Blessed2Teach Ministries (https://blessed2teach.com)

Introduction

Biblical locations, dismissed as fictional, have been unearthed, grounding scripture in real geography.  Jericho’s destruction is an example of a dramatic event in biblical history being questioned by critics who often get silenced by new evidence.

Reliability Verse – Luke 16:17: But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void.

This verse affirms the unchanging reliability of God’s word, which connects to biblical sites.

Jericho’s Destruction:

The destruction of Jericho, described in Joshua 6 of the Bible, is a pivotal event in the Israelite conquest of Canaan, occurring around the late 13th to early 12th century BCE according to traditional biblical chronology. After crossing the Jordan River, the Israelites, led by Joshua, besieged the fortified city of Jericho, a key Canaanite stronghold. God instructed them to march around the city once daily for six days, with priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant, and on the seventh day to circle it seven times, blow trumpets, and shout. Miraculously, the city’s walls collapsed, allowing the Israelites to conquer it, destroy the city, and dedicate its spoils to God, sparing only Rahab and her family for her faith. Archaeological evidence, like the collapsed walls at Tell es-Sultan, remains debated, with some linking it to the biblical account and others citing earlier destruction dates.

  • Significance: Demonstrates God’s power, fulfills His promise to give Canaan to Israel.
  • Spiritual Lesson: Faith and obedience to God lead to victory over obstacles.

God’s instructions are recorded in Joshua 6:5:

Joshua 6:5: “And when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall down flat…”

The fulfillment is in Joshua 6:20

Joshua 6:20: So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.

The author(s) of Hebrews refer to this event in the “faith chapter,” chapter 11:

Hebrews 11:30:  By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days.”

Critics’ Challenge: Kathleen Kenyon’s 1952–1958 excavations at Jericho (Tell es-Sultan) challenged the biblical account of Joshua’s conquest (ca. 1400 BC, Joshua 6), arguing it lacked archaeological support and may be fabricated. Using precise stratigraphic methods, she found:

  1. No Late Bronze Age (LBA) Walls: Kenyon detected no Late Bronze Age (1550–1200 BC) fortifications, stating, “Of the town walls of the Late Bronze Age… not a trace remains” (Digging Up Jericho, 1957: 261). She suggested Jericho was unfortified or abandoned.
  2. Earlier Destruction: Collapsed walls and burn layers were dated to the Middle Bronze Age (ca. 1550 BC), likely from Egyptian or Hyksos conflicts, 150 years before Joshua.
  3. Pottery Evidence: The absence of Cypriot LBA pottery and presence of MBA pottery supported her dating.

Skeptics, backed by Kenyon’s findings, argued the lack of LBA evidence shows the story was a later myth, possibly inspired by Middle Bronze Age ruins.

Her small excavation areas and reliance on missing pottery drew criticism, as erosion may have obscured LBA remains. See Digging Up Jericho (1957)..

Archaeological Find: Bryant Wood’s 1990s re-examination of Jericho’s archaeology challenged Kathleen Kenyon’s claim that no Late Bronze Age (LBA, 1400 BC) city or destruction existed, suggesting the biblical account of Joshua’s conquest (Joshua 6) was fabricated. Wood reanalyzed Kenyon’s and Garstang’s data, finding LBA evidence of collapsed walls and burning that aligned with the Bible. He attributed missing remains to haloclasty (salt-induced erosion) near the Dead Sea.

Key points refuting Kenyon:

  1. LBA Evidence: Wood found LBA pottery and a burn layer dated to 1400 BC via C-14, not Kenyon’s 1550 BC.
  2. Erosion: Haloclasty and later disturbances eroded LBA remains, explaining their scarcity.
  3. Biblical Parallels: Burnt grain and outward-collapsed walls matched Joshua 6.

Wood’s findings, though contested by minimalists like Finkelstein, offered a strong counter to Kenyon, supporting the biblical narrative (Biblical Archaeology Review, 1990).

Jericho’s collapsed walls support the Bible, challenging critics. Luke 16:17 underscores that God’s word, including Jericho’s account, remains unchangeable.

The Pool of Siloam

The Pool of Siloam, a significant biblical site in Jerusalem, is referenced in Isaiah 8:6 and John 9:1-11, tied to Hezekiah’s water system and Jesus’ healing of a blind man. Located in the City of David, it was a vital water reservoir fed by the Gihon Spring via Hezekiah’s Tunnel, built in the 8th century BCE to secure Jerusalem’s water supply. Rediscovered in 2004, the large, rectangular pool with stone steps confirmed its historical existence, refuting earlier scholarly doubts about its reality. The pool held both practical and spiritual importance, used in rituals like the Feast of Tabernacles and symbolizing divine provision and restoration.

  • Location: City of David, fed by Gihon Spring via Hezekiah’s Tunnel.
  • Significance: Practical water source, ritual site, symbol of spiritual healing.
  • Original ESV Scripture: John 9:7 – “And [Jesus] said to him, ‘Go, wash in the pool of Siloam’ (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.”

Hezekiah’s engineering of the pool is discussed in 2 Kings:

2 Kings 20:20: The rest of the deeds of Hezekiah and all his might and how he made the pool and the conduit and brought water into the city, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?” (Context: Hezekiah’s engineering.)

Siloam’s symbolic role is discussed in Isaiah 8:

Isaiah 8:6: Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and rejoice over Rezin and the son of Remaliah… )

Critics’ Challenge: For much of the 19th and 20th centuries, some biblical scholars, particularly minimalists, challenged the historical existence of the Pool of Siloam, mentioned in Isaiah 8:6 (Old Testament) and John 9:1-11 (New Testament). They argued it was a symbolic or fictional element, not a physical site, due to the lack of clear archaeological evidence before 2004 and ambiguities in biblical texts. Critics suggested the pool represented spiritual concepts like cleansing or divine provision rather than an actual location in Jerusalem. Some posited that references to the pool were later textual additions, reflecting theological motives rather than historical reality, fueled by skepticism about the Bible’s historical accuracy and the misidentification of a smaller Byzantine-era pool as the biblical site.

  • The absence of a verified First Temple-period pool led to doubts, with scholars pointing to the complexity of Jerusalem’s water systems and earlier inconclusive excavations, like Warren’s Shaft in the 19th century.
  • Minimalists viewed the Bible’s descriptions as primarily theological, not geographical, questioning the pool’s role in Hezekiah’s water system or Jesus’ miracle. These challenges were part of broader debates over biblical sites’ historicity, with critics arguing that the lack of evidence supported a symbolic interpretation.
  • Minimalist View: Pool was symbolic (cleansing, provision), not a real site.
  • Textual Critique: Vague biblical descriptions led to location doubts.
  • Archaeological Gap: Pre-2004, only Byzantine pool found, misidentified.
  • Skepticism: Seen as theological construct, not historical reality.
  • Broader Context: Part of debates questioning Bible’s geographical accuracy.

Archaeological Find: In 2004, the Pool of Siloam was uncovered in Jerusalem, confirming its role as a reservoir linked to Hezekiah’s tunnel and a site of Jesus’ miracle.

  • Visual/Link: Image of the Pool of Siloam.
    • Link:
    • Description: Photos of the excavated pool’s steps, uncovered in 2004, linking to Hezekiah and Jesus’ miracle.
  • The pool’s discovery validates Old and New Testament accounts, proving critics wrong. Luke 16:17 affirms that every detail of scripture endures.

Lessons from Jericho and Siloam

The discoveries of Jericho’s collapsed walls and the Pool of Siloam not only validate the historical reliability of Scripture but also offer profound spiritual lessons for our lives today. These events, once doubted by critics, demonstrate that God’s Word, as affirmed in Luke 16:17, endures unchanging, guiding us through faith, obedience, and trust in His promises. From Jericho, we learn the power of faith and obedience to overcome impossible obstacles, while the Pool of Siloam teaches us to trust in God’s provision and transformative power. These lessons call us to live boldly for Christ.

Faith Moves Mountains (Jericho):

  • Lesson: The walls of Jericho fell “by faith” (Hebrews 11:30) as the Israelites trusted God’s unconventional plan.
  • Application: Face personal “walls” (challenges, doubts) with faith in God’s guidance, even when His path seems illogical.
  • Example: Like Joshua’s obedience led to victory, trust God in your struggles—pray, act, and believe He’ll make a way.

Obedience Unlocks God’s Power (Jericho):

  • Lesson: The Israelites followed God’s precise instructions (Joshua 6:5, 20), resulting in a miraculous collapse of Jericho’s walls.
  • Application: Obey God’s Word fully, even in small details, to experience His breakthroughs in your life.
  • Example: Commit to daily prayer or biblical living, trusting God’s timing to open doors, as seen in Jericho’s conquest.

God’s Provision Sustains (Pool of Siloam):

  • Lesson: Hezekiah’s tunnel and the Pool of Siloam (2 Kings 20:20, Isaiah 8:6) provided water during siege, symbolizing God’s care.
  • Application: Rely on God’s provision in times of scarcity or trial, knowing He supplies all needs (Philippians 4:19).
  • Example: When facing financial or emotional drought, seek God’s “living water” through prayer and Scripture.

Christ’s Healing Transforms (Pool of Siloam):

  • Lesson: Jesus used the Pool of Siloam to heal the blind man (John 9:7), revealing His power to restore physically and spiritually.
  • Application: Invite Jesus to heal your brokenness—sin, pain, or blindness to truth—and share His transformative love.
  • Example: Like the blind man, obey Jesus’ call (e.g., repent, forgive) to experience renewed vision and purpose.

Scripture’s Reliability Strengthens Faith:

  • Lesson: Archaeological finds at Jericho and Siloam refute critics, proving God’s Word endures (Luke 16:17).
  • Application: Trust the Bible’s truth in a skeptical world, using its authority to guide decisions and counter false narratives.
  • Example: Share evidence like these discoveries to bolster others’ faith.

These points connect the historical events to modern Christian living, encouraging us to emulate the faith of Joshua and the blind man, obey God like the Israelites, and trust in His provision and healing as seen in the Pool of Siloam.

Lord, I trust your word as it stands forever and not even a dot will pass away.  I will be courageous like Joshua, have faith of those who conquered Jericho, and will obey Jesus when I hear his voice.  Thank you for giving us a reliable Bible we can strust and stand on! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
