Rick’s Interview with Tyler O’Neill (Daily Signal) at NRB 2026

HOW TYLER GOT INVOLVED FIGHTING THE SPLC

  • Tyler calls the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) the worst group at demonizing mainstream conservative and Christian organizations.
  • The SPLC puts them on a “hate map” next to Ku Klux Klan chapters, even though the SPLC has sued real Klan groups into bankruptcy (which he sees as a good thing).
  • The SPLC started in 1971 helping poor people in the South, then went after the Klan, but by the 1980s the Klan was much weaker thanks to the civil rights movement and Martin Luther King Jr.’s message.
  • Once the Klan became less of a threat, the SPLC needed new “hate” targets to raise money, so they started going after anti-immigration activists (many just wanted laws enforced) and then mainstream groups that believe marriage is between one man and one woman.

SPLC’S ANTI-CHRISTIAN ACTIONS

  • The SPLC used to say they were not anti-Christian and pointed to not listing Focus on the Family as proof.
  • In 2025, that statement vanished from their FAQ page, and Focus on the Family was added to the hate map.
  • By their own old logic, this makes them anti-Christian.
  • They listed the Ruth Institute (a small Catholic group helping sexual revolution survivors) on the hate map for quoting the Catholic Catechism exactly: homosexual acts are “intrinsically disordered” and cannot be morally approved.
  • Tyler testified in Congress about this; Rep. Steve Cohen (Democrat) questioned him hard, but Tyler had facts ready and Cohen ran over time asking questions.

SPLC’S HATE MAP AND REAL VS. FALSE TARGETS

  • Some groups on the map deserve it (like churches that call for executing homosexuals), but most do not.
  • Mainstream groups like Family Research Council, Alliance Defending Freedom, and Ruth Institute are peaceful, law-abiding, IRS-registered, and do not partner with violent people.
  • The SPLC’s map really shows who they hate, not real hate groups.

SPLC WORKING WITH GOVERNMENT

  • In 2023, the SPLC labeled Moms for Liberty a hate group while working closely with the Biden administration.
  • The FBI cited the SPLC when targeting “radical traditional Catholics.”
  • DOJ Civil Rights Division prosecutors were trained by SPLC’s RG Cravens (the same guy defending putting Focus on the Family on the hate map).
  • Tyler’s first book: Making Hate Pay (about SPLC corruption).
  • His second book: Woke Octopus (about dark money groups influencing and weaponizing the federal government under Biden).

OTHER CULTURAL AND MEDIA ISSUES

  • Tyler moderated a panel on religious censorship; speakers included Rob Bluey (on NewsGuard’s liberal bias hurting conservative outlets) and Tony Perkins (Family Research Council).
  • Tony Perkins said the biggest force for religious censorship is pastors unwilling to preach God’s full truth from Scripture.
  • Tyler and Rick discussed clear Bible verses against abortion (Psalm 139:13, Jeremiah 1:5, Luke 1 with John leaping in the womb, pharmakeia in Paul’s letters referring to abortifacient drugs) and same-sex activity.
  • Early church document Didache also condemns abortion and infant exposure.

DON LEMON AND CHURCH INVASION CASE

  • Don Lemon faces federal charges for helping disrupt a church service at City’s Church.
  • The group bragged about shutting down worship; one yelled at kids that their parents were going to hell.
  • They invaded during service, not a political event; the excuse was one pastor worked for ICE.
  • Indictment says 20–40 people invaded; only 9 charged so far.
  • Lemon knew ahead of time, said they were going to “disrupt business as usual,” hid the location from viewers, and acted aggressively (flanking the pastor, blocking escape).
  • Pastor Jonathan Parnell later said Lemon was “in on the terror.”
  • Charges use FACE Act (protects worship) and Ku Klux Klan Act (federal protection when local officials won’t act).
  • Minnesota AG Keith Ellison basically sided with invaders, saying churchgoers should tolerate it.

PRAYER REQUESTS AND CLOSING

  • Rick prayed for humility, amplification of voice, discernment, clear guidance from God hour by hour, protection, favor, and refreshing (Acts 3:19).

Rick’s Interview with Brad Dacus (Pacific Justice Institute) at NRB 2026

PACIFIC JUSTICE INSTITUTE (PJI) OVERVIEW

  • Founded by Brad Dacus in 1997; defends religious freedom, parents’ rights, and sanctity of human life.

  • Last two years: over 90% success rate in resolved cases.
  • Helps thousands of people every year.

  • Led nation in defending faith-based vaccine refusals (nearly twice as many cases as EEOC).
  • Got six states to ban boys in girls’ sports.
  • Won in Mahmoud v. Taylor (parents can opt kids out of school indoctrination).

  • Brad is cynical about modern Western medicine (Rockefeller model); believes in it for emergencies but stresses prevention.
  • Advocates second opinions, diet, supplements, red light therapy, far-infrared saunas, hyperbaric chambers (finished 60 sessions; helps concussions, strokes, infections).
  • Encourages asking if a drug cures or just treats symptoms (many add more problems).
  • Hospitals push permanent prescriptions for profit; preventive steps get ignored because no money in it.
  • During pandemic, outside doctor helped him avoid remdesivir/ventilator path; fever broke next day.
  • Strong on informed consent and parental rights in medical decisions.

CONTACT AND PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Website: pji.org (free resources, legal help form).
  • Brad asked for prayer for expansion to more states/offices, handling growing cases, and personally for insomnia (mind races, doesn’t want melatonin every night).
  • Rick prayed for amplification, nationwide expansion, protection and favor for team/future team, binding dark forces, loosing angels, deep refreshing sleep (Acts 3:19), joy, and clear daily/hourly guidance from God.
