Built to Steal

• They start in Venezuela, not Georgia or Arizona.
• After Chávez took power he needed elections he could not lose, the same way he needed the oil.
• Young engineers were asked if they could build software that guaranteed the winner. They said yes.
• That company became Smartmatic, founded in Florida by Venezuelan-born engineers, then fed by huge Chávez-era contracts.
• They say the regime did not just rent the software. It kept the source.
• They say that source still sits in a Caracas vault, including the central bank.
• If the owner of the code is a foreign state, every later “American” badge on the box is a wrapper, not a new soul.

Exported to the U.S.

• Step one: Smartmatic buys Sequoia and walks into the U.S. voting market.
• Washington’s CFIUS review forced Smartmatic to sell Sequoia. The trio does not treat that sale as a clean break.
• Step two: Dominion later buys Sequoia assets, including software.
• They say the same core architecture shows up across Dominion, Hart, and ES&S, like different PC brands still running one operating system.
• They say that stack is what ran in the 2020 swing states.
• Their point is the badge on the machine is not the story. The inherited code is the story.

How the Theft Works

• Gary’s number: fourteen technical ways to change totals.
• Those paths run from poll books to scanners to tabulators to central servers. Not one trick. A kit.
• Ballot images can be swapped, so what you see later is not what the voter marked.
• God mode is their name for operator-level access that can change counts without leaving an honest trail.
• Methods are mixed on purpose. One county looks like a glitch. Another looks like a late dump. A third looks like adjudication. No single pattern jumps.
• Audits fail on purpose, they say, because rules push you to the screen, not the paper in the box.
• If you cannot open the real box, the audit is a show.

Foreign Control

• They place a Smartmatic office inside Venezuela’s CNE, the national election council.
• Picture they use: 150 Smartmatic engineers beside 150 CNE engineers.
• Two jobs, in their words: steal the race, and study every state’s audit so the steal survives the check.
• China, Cuba, Russia, and Serbia are named as part of the wider net.
• They say election-night data does not stay in the county. It gets routed off U.S. soil.
• Huawei servers in Serbia are named as one hop.
• Martin’s frame: this is not only an election problem. It is a counterintelligence problem. A hostile state was allowed inside the count.

2020 Engineered

• They say the U.S. race was war-gamed a year out, in 2019.
• Not fifty states. A few swing counties. Flip the county, flip the state, flip the Electoral College.
• Engineers they recruited are, in their telling, men who helped write the original code and later walked away.
• They say those men can reproduce the flip in a lab.
• Byrne’s older line matches theirs: narrow and deep, not loud and everywhere.
• Leave the same machines in place and the next cycle uses the same pipe.

What Must Happen

• Pull the machines. Do not patch them. Do not “certify harder.”
• Paper ballots only. A vote you can hold.
• Hand count, in public, on a schedule people can watch.
• Treat it as national security, not a clerk mistake and not a PR fight.
• Their close: if the source is foreign and the audit is blind, trust is not a feeling. It is a paper trail.

• They claim the method is reproducible in a lab.
• Leave the machines up and you leave the door up.
