Most believers want to hear God’s voice. Few pursue the closeness that makes His voice unmistakable.
In this Word recorded May 11, 2026, the Lord speaks directly to that gap — not with condemnation but with an urgent, loving invitation: Come so close that you have no doubt I am speaking to you. Come so close that you can hear my voice and distinguish it from all the other spiritual voices trying to distract you.
What God describes is not mystical or vague. It is a progression. Come so close that your calling becomes clear. Come so close that the specific steps you are to take become visible. Come so close that His power flows through you more powerfully than you have ever experienced. Come so close that the problems of the world — which are real and pressing — seem small compared to the light and love you are pursuing in Him.
The Lord then makes a declaration that is both a promise and a challenge: Make room for me so that all the things of the world are no longer desired, and your desires become my desires. When that exchange happens — your desires replaced by His — Scripture calls it walking in the Spirit. Paul describes it in Galatians 5. John describes it in 1 John 2. The Word has always called believers to this place. God is calling His church to it now, urgently, in this hour.
