Rapture Series — Day 6 of 7 | FaithNFreedom.social
The King Is Coming Back — What the Bible Says About the Second Coming
The same Jesus who wept over Jerusalem, who washed the feet of His disciples, who said “Father, forgive them” from the cross — is coming back. Not as a suffering servant this time. As the Lion of the tribe of Judah. As the King of kings and Lord of lords. The Second Coming is the fulfillment of every promise God has ever made — to Israel, to the Church, to creation itself groaning for redemption.
Day 6 of the Rapture Series opens the text of Revelation 19, Zechariah 14, Matthew 24, and Matthew 25 and walks through what Scripture actually reveals about the return of Jesus Christ to earth. This is not a repeat of the Rapture — it is a distinct, later event, and confusing the two robs believers of the clarity and comfort Scripture is designed to give.
Heaven Opens — The Rider Appears
Revelation 19:11 — “Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse.” After the marriage supper of the Lamb, after the Church has been with Christ in glory, heaven opens and the King rides out. Faithful and True. Eyes like flame. Robe dipped in blood. The Word of God. King of kings and Lord of lords. Every detail in this passage is a precise portrait of who He is and what He comes to accomplish.
We Return With Him
The armies of heaven follow Him — arrayed in fine linen, white and pure. That fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints (Revelation 19:8). The Church, raptured before the Tribulation and clothed at the marriage supper, returns with Christ as His royal escort. We do not come back as survivors. We come back as co-triumphant with the King. This is the pre-trib position in its fullest and most glorious expression.
Israel Recognizes Her Messiah
At the moment of maximum crisis — the nations gathered against Jerusalem at Armageddon — Christ returns and His feet touch the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4). And Israel, the remnant that survived the Tribulation, looks on Him whom they pierced and mourns (Zechariah 12:10). Romans 11:26 is fulfilled: all Israel will be saved. The Second Coming is the ultimate fulfillment of every covenant promise God made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The Kingdom Begins
The Antichrist and False Prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire. Satan is bound for a thousand years. The Millennial Kingdom begins — one thousand years of righteous rule from Jerusalem with Christ as King and the saints reigning with Him. Isaiah’s vision of the wolf lying down with the lamb finds its literal fulfillment. Every promise. Every covenant. Every word of God. Fulfilled.
Both faces of Jesus are true — the suffering servant and the conquering King. Scripture never separates them. Neither should we.
